Leather Care and info

I do my best to cut leather in such a way to avoid as many imperfections as possible. That being said, Leather ( natural vegetable tanned especially) is an organic material and minor imperfections are normal.

All Leather is sourced in France.

Natural vegetable tanned leather will darken and develop a patina/sheen over time.

The only thing applied to these hides is my own oil/beeswax pommade which will make it water resistant and condition it. That being said it is not waterproof and natural vegetable tanned leather tends to leave mark when in contact with water. Until your bag has darkened and developed its patina, I recommend avoiding rain.

Bridle Leather is essentially vegetable tanned leather that has been filled with oils and waxes. It was originally developed for equestrian gear and made to be very durable and comfortable for the horse. This leather is water and dirt resistant.

If you have any concerns or questions about how to care for your bag, please let me know through the contact page.
